King James' Infinite Loop

Another little treasure of London town.

This morning I walked down through Green Park, waved hello to Betty and made sure she hadn't left out her washing, and did my favourite little walk through St James' Park. It was quite this morning, and the Scandinavian winds were keeping things cold, but I still love the feeling of being in the middle of a beautifully laid out garden in the middle of London. Squirrels, Pelicans, and a lovely golden fowl of some kind, more flowers than you can shake an anti-histamine at.

And if you stop on the middle of the footbridge, you have one of the most glorious views in London down to Horseguards and a forest of domes, spires and towers that could come straight out of the fantasy world of your choice. Bliss. I do the walk in a figure eight, to let me cross the bridge twice, and it takes around 20 minutes. Just long enough to fill your lungs, and get back to the Ritz for breakfast.
