Infinitely preferable. Looks like quite a nice dog.

I agree with various commenters that he seems to be floating in mid-air, but I find that quite an attractive characteristic.

He's in mid bound. It amazes me that at the age of 8 or so he still comes bounding back when called with quite amazing alacrity...
