Dear Diary
Tonight I was taught to stand, and then to walk.
People threw foam balls at me.
I was given a straitjacket to wear.
I was confused about handedness.
But decided to be a lefty.
Except using my right hand.
I learned to lunge.
I had sweat dripping off my nose, but nobody could tell because I was wearing a mask.
I was poked by a sucession of women.
A lot.
And I had a great time.
I think I'm going to like this fencing lark.
Now I'm off to walk my dog and go to bed.

Glad you enjoyed it, only nine more weeks and you can kick my arse up and down the piste.

But I really enjoyed it, except for the mask, and I've a feeling that I'll get used to that.

And if I can get used to wearing a scuba mask, I can get used to anything.
