unblinkered left the country I have reverted to type. Last night was a curry followed by an evening of depravity in a succession of West End bars, ending at Oran Mor at 1.30 or so. Despite this, I was at the gym with my friend Paul this afternoon, and I'm mostly sound in body and mind now.
In between times, I was setting up my new Blu-ray player (I wish they'd called it something else - just typing "Blu for blue gives me the willies. I mean, how much time do they save by dropping the "e"? And it makes the technology sound like something developed by people who name donuts. Which is not how you spell donought. Bah).
Anyway - the thing who's name I will not type works really, really well. The pictures are spectacular, and the sound is amazing. Of course, getting the sound right mean recabling everything in the amp - I've now managed to dump about three scart cables, I have HDMI cables to the screen from my DVD type box and my BT vision box, and sound goes into the amp via optical cable from the machine formerly known as a DVD player, and a stereo lead to SCART cable from the Vision box. And it all works.
Now I'm going to put my feet up for a bit, and then get on my bike and cycle through the rain tozantic 's birthday bash...
