Wherever you go, there I am.

I'm thinking of making this journal friends only again. Mostly so that I can be a little more relaxed about talking about the big stuff, without worrying about who's listening. I'm still a little ambivalent - cutting off the journal from the outside world seems a bit insular. On the other hand, most of the friends I've made on-line come from comments in the journals of other friends, I can't think of any drop-ins I've had.

I'll mull it over for a day or two, but if you've been lurking (which is not a bad thing to do), you might want to do the friending thing around now. Or not, which is also good.

Could you mix and match? I think most of my posts are public but I tend to lock the family stuff and the rants. Or do you want the security of the lock-in?

I'd rather not have to worry about distinguishing between the two - but I'll see how it works out.

Hilarious, no? Steal it for yourself!

No, no - not a cull, just f-locking. And of course you're a keeper!

I have the default on mine to be friends-only, but I go in and edit anything that I think ought to be public, such as recall notices.

And I use filters sometimes.

::waves:: lurker here.

I may leave a post unlocked for a while but I tend to lock it all down eventually.

Paranoia tends to be my default. (a career in indigent criminal defense and a late father's in law enforcement)

Then there are those strange Russians that drop by. =)

Yes, people with law degrees do end up in strange places...
