Marooned... Pls send pizza.

Still up at the cottage, as a two day weekend turns easily into a four day one... Original plan was to come up on Thursday and leave on Saturday (to see a friend sing in the deep end of a disused swimming pool)That changed to coming up on Friday afternoon, since the gig was going to be on Sunday lunchtime we decided to give it a miss. Then Kay and James suggested dinner in Tarbet on Friday night (very good food at the newly reopened Anchorage), then we had them over on Saturday night, (very good food prepared by unblinkered) then they left early on Sunday, and ended up having a five hour trip back to Glasgow because of two road closures. We decided to stay on Sunday night and leave early today.
But it's raining a lot, and the cottage is soooo cosy...

Sounds wonderful.

When does the cafe open, by the way?

I'm racking my brains on what to with our youngest for yet another interminable Bank Holiday. On the verge of cutting and running north. Or going camping (no one else will have thought of that).

Never, unless I get back to Glasgow to do some work on it! Bought a coffee grinder yesterday, though. All hail eBay! :D

Which bank holiday is that?

Oh...the one you guys don't get? Maybe. This weekend, anyway.

Ah! Well we're here, and we have guests for the weekend. That means the cottage is going to be empty. So if you wanted to come through Glasgow and pick up the keys...
Much drier than camping :)
