Almost as good as The Great Bear

Nicked from Neil Gaiman's blog, for the one or two of you who don't already link to it,

100 years of popular music as a Tube map.

This is excellent. I lived at Nas (never heard of them) and went to school between LL Cool J and Eric B and Rakim. Very excellent!

This is a treasure.

And the comments are almost as entertaining!

I can see I shall be spending days trawling this map...

I think it was probably sparked off by The Great Bear by Simon Patterson, which I saw at the Tate a few years ago and loved enough to have a framed print made.

The Great Bear is also excellent - as is the tube map itself.

I've got that too. As soon as I have a new kitchen, it's going up.

Well it's in my study if you ever want to visit.

Am so tempted to call your bluff.

Feel free - my study is like one of those grace and favour apartments that are open to the public once a year. And the daybed is quite comfy, as I found out on sunday night.
