On The Road, Day Four

The sun is shining in Prague, and Bill and I have made the most of it, walking mostly, with stops for coffee at his local hipster spot, and a very lovely Cubist cafe, with a spot of lunch at a nice French place, where I confused everyone by ordering in French. We're back at the flat chilling for an hour or so, then we're heading off to see The Avengers with Daniel.

Last night we took the whole family, including Wee Will, to a perfectly pleasant Thai place, where he was very well behaved. We watched Game of Thrones on HBO - no adverts - and then Bill and I sat up till about 2 setting the world to rights. Can't do that tonight, since I'm up at 4 to catch a 6 o'clock flight to London. What WAS I thinking?

Was it the cafe at the cubism museum? And the Thai place in Hradcany? I miss Prague, I haven't been in ages.

No, it was in the building with the Black Madonna on the corner - The Orient Cafe, which has been there for about 80 years, apparently. The Thai place was just uphill from the Fred and Ginger building. Prague is a great place for cafes, and the restaurants are catching up.
