Why did no one tell me that David Cameron had been wearing Converse?

I have never knowingly worn Converse, Nike, Adidas etc. I don't do fashion cool. In my experience those who think they are cool, or their clothes are cool, are wrong.

I had to suffer being told that I couldn't wear them anymore because they were trendy. I suppose this means I won't be nagged anymore...

Hear hear, but I was wearing Converse and Levi's before they became brands because they were cheap and comfortable. I'm just depressed that other folk think they're cool...

Shrug. All any label ever says about anyone to me is "this is someone who needs to associate themselves with labels to assert some kind of personal identity"...

*sigh* I just get fed up when things I wear because they are comfortable and good value get commodified - expect the Doc Martin fashion trend any day now...
