I found out today that next year I really ought to check the schedule for the livestock show and not wait to take my youngest until the show is pretty much done. ::headdesk:: At least there was a pony ride, which he absolutely loved....
It was a charity telethon on BBC1 - the presenters of their car show, Top Gear, took over a show called Ground Force, which surprises celebrities by redesigning their gardens while they're away. They managed to set fire to the celebrity's shed, strand a digging machine in a hole, tear up his lawn, and construct a water feature which produced a 30ft fountain. All very, very funny.
