There's a swing here that looks suspiciously like it's made of left-over fence posts.
My own fencing training has all been done on other people's fences so left-overs were their problem. Apart from the pile of palings from my brother that somehow ended up in my garage.
As someone said in a parliamentary debate: "The Honourable Gentleman has spent so long sitting on the fence that its iron has begun to enter his soul."
If I'm going to have fencing cluttering up my garage, it would be a lot more fun if it were the flexible orange stuff they use around construction areas.
Very sturdy. 50mm steel posts anchored in bedrock. I simplified a little, though. It's no longer a swing. I cut it off at ground level with an angle grinder and it is now an arch holding a vine up in the garden.
