I haven't had anything to drink for almost six hours, which makes me almost sober and a bit late to bed. I went off to see American Music Club tonight in a small, dingy cellar in Glasgow. I loved the gig, despite band ructions and it being far too short (70 minutes) although the two mates who tagged along left for the bar after a song and a half - well, I warned them.

Two songs alone made it for me - "I've Been a Mess" and a storming encore of "Windows on the World". After that we went bar-hopping to November at Princes Square (ok) Barca at the same place (great, since they were having a mad Salsa night) and then the Blue Dog. We stayed there until it closed, and then we ended up at the Casino until 5. I came out even, as usual (as soon as I win my stake back I put it in my pocket). I walke home from there, then walked Merlin, and now it's time I was asleep.
