BMI 29.9. Not sure how much I trust bmi, but it's a milestone. That's 5 kg down, a smidgeon less than 5% of bodyweight. That's 1/20th less to love, ladies and gents.

I don't trust BMI for much at all, because it doesn't take into account factors like bone density or fat vs. muscle mass.

(I have denser bones than you might expect. And I have a friend with insanely high bone density, a fair bit of muscle mass, a condition that makes her shorter than she should be - BMI is a joke with her....)

But, congrats on the weight loss! That's something to celebrate in some non-caloric or low-caloric manner! :)

It also doesn't take into account causes. It's just a measure, a ratio, and it will be innacurate out on both sides of the bell-curve.
But, hey, I'm a guy and it's a number.
On the other hand, the borders of "healthy" BMI start almost 10kg down from my target weight, and I think it will be a long time, if ever, before I'm ever near that.

Yes, but what there is of him will have more energy to play with. I think this is a win situation.
