In Other News...

I'm hoping to go on a cycle tomorrow from here  (Glasgow) to the cottage (Argyll).
It would consist of a train trip to the coast, a ferry to Bute, another ferry to Cowal and a third ferry to Kintyre. The mileage is less than 50 miles, but some of it is pretty hilly.
I REALLY want to do this, but it's been raining hammers, it's been raining nails here, so it's pretty much in the balance. I'll see what the weather is doing in the morning...

I've driven between Glasgow and the cottage, and the idea of riding a push bike that far makes me weary beyond comprehension. You're a mad Scot, but my hat is off to you.

I hope there's a wee drop of the good malt waiting for you at the other end.
