I pushed pretty hard in the gym tonight, and managed to burn 425 calories in half an hour on the cross trainer. That could have been higher, but my heart rate had hit 175 bpm, and we old folk are supposed to keep it a bit lower than that.

Will be spending the rest of this evening listening to Andy Murray winning the U.S. Open.

According to the table in my gym, I shouldn't go about 150 when doing CV exercises.

So, between 138 and 146 ought to be fine for me. (That's about where I was on our treadmill on Sunday.)
