Thor, The Dark World
Oct. 31st, 2013 11:59 pmVery enjoyable. I'd heard it was all whizz bang and shouting, but there was quite a bit of humour and some actual characterisation in there (not just for Loki, though he got his share). I continue to be impressed by the strength of the female roles - if anything Thor does more moping than Jane or Sif. Some pretty blatant eye candy on display, all male, and I still like their take on Asgard.
Not so sure about the first post-credits scene - I can't see what it's setting up at all. Doesn't seem to lead anywhere near an Ultron-driven plot.
Lots of fun, fills its allotted time well, and builds on the character nicely.
