Ketched Up
Oct. 2nd, 2014 08:01 pmWas thinking of writing something about work, which is in flux, and relationships (see 3 of n for details), and money woes, but the world has caught up with me. This week has been a blur Glasgow/Edinburgh/Inverness, and now I have 90 minutes until I need to be at Glasgow Airport to pick up Bill, who'll be staying with me this weekend. On the way I need to pick up some food, of which I seem to have aproximately none in the flat.
Driving back over the Cairngorms last night, with the sun picking out peaks 30 or so miles away, I realised just how close I was to being in a better place than I've been in a long time. Sure, there are some things to work out, and work is not the least of them, but I have a good solid shot at being entirely happy - and hell, that's a shot worth taking.
Later, people, I have to go the makings of a lot of fried breakfasts.
