I got my first watch when I was 40 days old. My grandfather gave me a tiny rolex.I was allowed to wear it when I turned 8. It lasted me till I turned 18. But then I started having to open the glass dial and stick the needles back on a couple of times a day and reluctantly gave it up. I then bought myself a nice simple titan with a delicate gold clasp. I felt nice and grown up as I had earned that money myself. :)
For the last eight years I have been wearing my latest love, a simple Cartier - black leather strap, rectangular face with roman numerals, and a tiny blue diamond to indicate where the key is. I love it and will probably wear it until it falls apart.
Hmm, what I started saying was that I almost always wear a watch and have even been known to sleep in one. It has been 26 years now, and I tend to feel a little lost if I can't see the time. And I need to see it on my wrist - looking at the cell, or at the computer clock, or at the clock on the wall is just not good enough. Ummm...have I ever mentioned that I tend to be a bit of a what they called a Type A personality?
