Oranges and Lemons
Just to let you know that I'm enjoying London (had my morning stroll around St James' and a most enjoyable night out last night).
Not enough time to do all the procrastinating memes about, but here's one:
Magazine: Private Eye, New Scientist, New Statesman
Newspaper: Guardian,
Candy bar: Tablet
Cookie: Not fussed
Mineral water: Pelligrino.
Soft drink: Water
Alcholic drink: Mine's a large one
Champagne: Laurent Perrier
Lipstick: not as a general rule
Mascara: I thought we were using the term "collateral damage" these days?
Moisturiser: Talisker
Shampoo: body shop something or another.
Scent/aftershave: Paul Smith's London
Toothpaste: Armand Hammer
Jeans: Don't wear
Underwear: When I remember
Sneakers: Fleet for badminton, New Balanace for x-training and Converse for slobbing
Watch: Don't wear one
Cellphone: Motorola Razr
Portable music device: iPod
PC/laptop: Powerbook G3, Dell thing for work
Necessary extravagance: Wine, woman and song

For the last eight years I have been wearing my latest love, a simple Cartier - black leather strap, rectangular face with roman numerals, and a tiny blue diamond to indicate where the key is. I love it and will probably wear it until it falls apart.
Hmm, what I started saying was that I almost always wear a watch and have even been known to sleep in one. It has been 26 years now, and I tend to feel a little lost if I can't see the time. And I need to see it on my wrist - looking at the cell, or at the computer clock, or at the clock on the wall is just not good enough. Ummm...have I ever mentioned that I tend to be a bit of a what they called a Type A personality?

If I go to New York this spring, though, I will buy another fake rolex since I like the idea of wearing one on many levels...
