Are you sure Talisker is your moisturiser rather than your scent?

Go with the watch, though. I really must do this meme...

I got my first watch when I was 40 days old. My grandfather gave me a tiny rolex.I was allowed to wear it when I turned 8. It lasted me till I turned 18. But then I started having to open the glass dial and stick the needles back on a couple of times a day and reluctantly gave it up. I then bought myself a nice simple titan with a delicate gold clasp. I felt nice and grown up as I had earned that money myself. :)

For the last eight years I have been wearing my latest love, a simple Cartier - black leather strap, rectangular face with roman numerals, and a tiny blue diamond to indicate where the key is. I love it and will probably wear it until it falls apart.

Hmm, what I started saying was that I almost always wear a watch and have even been known to sleep in one. It has been 26 years now, and I tend to feel a little lost if I can't see the time. And I need to see it on my wrist - looking at the cell, or at the computer clock, or at the clock on the wall is just not good enough. Ummm...have I ever mentioned that I tend to be a bit of a what they called a Type A personality?

I used to wear a watch constantly, and then about 6 months ago I found myself without one - a strap had worn out on my favourite, the battery was gone on the back up, I couldn't find another, and I wasn't wearing waistcoats anymore so I didn't wear my pocket watch - I realised that my phone has a clock, though, and if I really needed to know the time I could look at that. Presto, a minor liberation!

If I go to New York this spring, though, I will buy another fake rolex since I like the idea of wearing one on many levels...

I am loving the whole waistcoast pocket watch idea. How sad you don't do that anymore :(

I might go back to wearing them, don't worry - and I still have the pocket watch.

Jeans should be: 501's. I thought "Don't wear" was part of the underwear answer...

That's because you don't have my combination of dyslexia and an inability to accept reality...

It only occurred to me that you might have dyslexia because you dropped a comment somewhere hereabouts that I read this morning. Else, you'd never know.

It's only something that pops up if I'm tired, and usually around reading, not writing.

Interesting, thanks. Assuming you don't mind being interesting ;)

I was aware of one of those traits in you - but not the other!

Very mild and hardly worth the calling.

I only got it because it was something of a burning thread on my journal a while back ;)
