Got those stayed up late on a schoolnight blues....

I'm currently maintaining a comfortable level of hangover in the office, thanks to the ever-lovely frankie_ecap and her over-tall paramour. I treked over to Fife last night, (well, 75 miles hardly counts as a trek, but you know what I mean) and demolished a huge amount of lasagne and cake, as well as more than my share of three bottles of wine (one of which was a gorgeous magnum of something or another). I also got to pass on Frankie's belated bithday present, which was greeted with ecstatic squeals and a serious assualt on people's ankles.

Allin all, a very pleasant meal, which turned into a very pleasant, rambling after dinner conversation which only eneded when we looked at our watches and realised that it was indeed 2.a.m.

I did sleep very well (country air and all) and K did make me porridge this morning (not quite up to the Millennium in Grosvenor Square's standards, due to the salt issue, but damm fine indeed.

Made it into the office just after 10, and I may do some work this afternoon. Possibly.

I'm glad I've booked into a yoga class at 5, otherwise the gym wouldn't see me today, although I'm toying with the idea of going over at lunchtime for a shower and a sauna...
