Last night I was quite vociferous in my defence of the U.S. as a democratic state which believes in equality and free speech. But they’re really not helping me, are they?

New Music Shock

Forgot to mention that I heard a guy called Colin Train doing a session on Tuesday, and  enjoyed it so much I went off and downloaded the album from iTunes. He's almost a male Eddi Reader, or maybe it's just that I enjoy the Glasgow accent. Go off and listen to "Me And All My Pals" on his livespace, I liked it.

He's playing a couple of free gigs in the West End, one of them hosting an acoustic night at the Aragon this Sunday, the other at The Liquid Ship on the 10th of October. Anyone interested in coming along? Did I mention the "free" bit?
