Tom Waits, singing Cole Porter, video directed by Jim Jaramusch. Better than this (for a given value of "this") it does not get.

I remember seeing it on the original Red Hot + Blue programme and being completely blown away. I must look up the title sequence for Down By Law....

I remember that too, the whole Red, Hot + Blue collection was made of awesome, and the original trigger behind my love of all things Cole Porter. But Tom Waits' bit is the most mindblowing.
