Greek Tragedy For the Masses

Went to see Star Wars, The Revenge of the Sith last night, and was completely surprised to be completely blown away. Twenty five years of foreshadowing has created a real head of steam for the ending, and I was quite caught up in it. There was something quite Shakespearean about the scale of the piece, and I was actually quite moved by the ending. Knowing the ending didn't spoil things, just made it more powerful when it came. It seems strange to describe a $200 million effects laden movie as dark and sombre, but this one was. Top marks.
