Last Minute Packing

So I've had all day to get my shit together. And is my shit together? No it isn't. So I have 45 minutes to shower, clean the litter tray, pack one bike, one dog, one cat, one cat box, enough clothes for a week, my phone, my macbook, various chargers and go out and pick unblinkered  up from work.
So am I doing that? No, I'm updating LJ.

Ah well, I'll forget something anyway, so why worry about it?

The plan at the moment is to drive to the cottage with U, and for her to abandon me on Sunday and leave me up there for a week of quiet reflection and gardening.

I'll be online up there, and may even right more. I have a prologue I want to see written down.
