Boogie Wonderland
Feb. 27th, 2012 01:21 pmIt must be time for me to ask for some new music recs. The last two albums I’ve bought were Bruce Springsteen’s “Tracks” (I wondered why I didn’t have this wonderful collection of live tracks, lost tracks and alternate takes, on mp3, and then realised that my original was on mini-disk) and Simpleminds’ “X5” set, which is a re-issue of their first five albums. Splendid as both of these are, “Life in a Day” was out in the late 70’s, and some of the tracks on “Tracks” go back that far too.
So what should I be listening to just now? Anything from folk to dance has a place in my listening habits, so take me somewhere different.
Please?
