Dad Update

f4f3Well, he's out of surgery, and he's in ICU, as planned. In fact the surgeon said that everything had gone to plan with the op, and that he'll be under heavy sedation until tomorrow, and in ICU till Saturday.
I do think the worst part is over. I also know that we're not out of the woods yet. And I'm still bloody 3,000 miles away, which is affecting me much more than I thought it would.
So thanks for all your kind thoughts, and here's to a totally uneventful few days...
