I cannot do three successive post-midnight nights. Especially when two are on school nights, at two are post-3am.
Wednesday - saw my new car in the metal (not actually mine, but the first 4 series I've seen) at a BMW launch. Then had a lovely dinner at La Valle Blanche, then saw The Temperance Movement play a fantastic set at Oran Mor. When I have a proper keyboard ill blog about that. In the meantime, go buy their first album. Now.
Thursday I was out in the west end for that rarest of things, a night out with colleagues at I really enjoyed. My mistake was to suggest we went for food at 11.30 and then, when I got back to the flat at 1 watching the first half of Pulp Fiction instead of going to bed.
Last night was a 20 year reunion with some Motorola folk and my mistake then was going on the the Oxford Bar and then a club. Still, I managed about 6 hours of sleep. Funniest moment, Tango telling me I'd made some questionable relationship choices in the past couple of years. And Marie responding "No shit, Sherlock."
Tonight I'm at the cottage, and about to head to bed with a good book and a better dram.
more to come, when I get back to Glasgow tomorrow night.
