How long does it take to get caffeine withdrawal symptoms?

I had my last latte about 30 hours ago, and now I have a headache, sore joints, and a blocked up nose. I feel like I have a hangover, and I haven't had a drink this week.

Given that correlation does not equal causation, I’m assuming that I’m on track for a cold. Which is not good news, because:

1. I want to get my flat habitable tonight. Moving stuff back into the spare room last night stalled the third time the fold down bed attacked my toes. It also seems to have stopped being anything else other than a bed – I can’t make it be a sofa anymore. My current thinking to throw the fecking thing out and move the smaller of the two sofas out of the lounge and into the spare room. This will require more than one person’s worth of muscle, so I might rope in the mother of my glamorous lodger in waiting to do that with me. If I can ever get Marie to be in the same city as me at the same time, that is (which is the story of our 20 year friendship in a nutshell). I also want to buy a rug. And hang a painting. The overlarge Ikea seascape would fit the back wall nicely, and leave room for the two film-poster type views of Glasgow I bought in Edinburgh, and which are probably due back from the framer’s soon.
2. I’m working from home tomorrow, because BMW are supposed to be delivering my new car sometime between 9 and 12. I’m trying not to get too excited about this, because they might let me down, but, dammit, I’m looking forward to my new toy. Of course, I’m probably the only person swapping the best all-wheel drive I’ve ever had for the first rear-wheel drive I’ve ever had in the week that temperatures in the central belt are dropping below zero for the first time this year. Still, what could possibly go wrong?
