First train, to Glasgow Central
Apr. 18th, 2006 05:58 amYes, I'm playing with the wi-fi again.
It seems to be quite well behaved this morning, somewhere between dial-up and broadband speeds, and quite useable.
The view this morning is stunning: lovely sunshine, blue skies. I've just passed through Alnwick, and I'm looking forward to the sweep into Berwick on Tweed, which can be spectacularly beautiful, a long viaduct over the Tweed and a view down to the sea with the old town framed on the left.
Apologies to anyone I haven't caught up with this weekend: I've been more or less out of touch since Thursday afternoon, but back on line now, courtesy of modern miracles.
