I thought Jonathan Ross was fabulous in that interview. Way to wrong-foot politicians. Clearly, the way to really, really test Conservatives is to ask about their attraction to Margaret Thatcher.

It's an obvious way to work out how pervy they are. It was nice to see him unable to answer two straight questions over what he would have done over Iraq if he had been PM, and what he would do about legalising drugs if he becomes PM.

I think he used the slightly longer formulation of "I think you're a fundamentally decent guy but you're also a useless fuckwit, aren't you?"

Best exchange of the evening:

"So did you masturbate over a picture of Margaret Thatcher?"
"I think I've just realised why other politicians don't come on your show."

And from the look on his face, he had just realised! Heeeeeeeeeeee! Although Cameron has earned a certain amount of respect for actually going on the show in the first place...I'm sure his advisors were tearing their haor out at the very thought!
