I'll sleep when I'm dead
Jun. 28th, 2006 05:08 pmWell, I ended up printing and binding the presentation at 10 p.m.
And then I agreed to come along and do the presentation as well.
So - back to hotel at 10.30, up at six, off to Woking, train back to Waterloo/Underground to Paddington/Heathrow Express/2 glasses of wine and 3 flapjacks in BA lounge/plane to Newcastle/Drive home.
Up at 5.10. Drive to Glasgow. Pick up the day job. Had lunch with son (yay DiMaggio's West End).
I'm at a decision point now, between going to Brookmyre talk, then driving to cottage (2 hours. Well, maybe an hour and a half if the road's quiet) or going straight to cottage. Sod it, I'll go listen to the writer man (black dockers/stripey shirt/fawn coloured jacket if any lj friends are lurking. I'll be holding a copy of "The System of the World" and sleeping).
