Encouraged by
blonde222 posting Aston Villa's demolition of Newcastle, and with apologies to
pshtaku, here's a link to Celtic's game with Aberdeen at the weekend...

Date: 2008-02-12 03:34 pm (UTC)I sat in the King Street End with my (then) brother-in-law and the place was simply electric! I know that is a much over used description but I can't think of a better way to describe it. I still shiver at the thought of that night.
For the last 20 minutes in particular every hair on my body was standing on end as my beloved Dons stuck it to the Germans and you could see the confidence grow and almost visibly see and feel that confidence turn to arrogance. I would swear that I could see those Scottish chests puffing out as the Dandies simply outplayed Bayern who ended up looking both dejected and bewiidered as this Scottish provincial team comprehensively dismantled them!
Ach you can't beat a good piece of reminiscence ....unfortunately this is 2007 and alas wee Jimmy Calderwood is just a numpty so reality sucks! :-(
