Withdrawal Pains...
Apr. 1st, 2009 08:56 pmGot in tonight feeling like shit, and couldn't figure out why.
I didn't sleep well last night, and today was a pretty stressful day at work (three deadlines this morning, and 2 hours with the MD this afternoon, one of them with the two most senior project representatives of our Spanish overlords whom I for one welcome). But that shouldn't have made me so shakey by six o'clock that I had to eat dinner in a supermarket cafe before I could face shopping tonight. Not when I have a long weekend in Prague to look forward to.
By the time I picked up
unblinkered and merlin (I really should get him an lj username, but I bet Merlin is taken) I was slightly worried about driving, and by the time we got home I was pretty shakey.
When I got home I thought about collapsing into bed, and THAT'S when I finally realised that I hadn't taken my drugs this morning, or last night.
It's pretty scary, really, that 36 hours without them can leave me that shakey, but paradoxically I now feel much better. Not sure if it's psychosomatic or not, but I now feel well enough to start looking forward to the weekend.
