...is what I probably should have said, when I was offered Tamiflu. What I actually said was "God yes, where do I pick it up?"
I had the tiniest set of symptoms ever observed by this morning. Not even enough to qualify as man flu never mind swine flu. However, I do have one of those "underlying medical conditions" we hear so much about, so I called NHS 24 for some advice. Bloody NHS. Within a couple of hours of calling the help line, a GP called me back, and after listening to me telling him that I was perfectly fine he told me that the Tamiflu would be ready to pick up from the nearest chemist in 20 minutes.
Given that it seems to have a prophylactic action as well as a damage limitation role, I'll be taking it, then. And I WILL do the weekend update and my five words from Frankie, and a follow up on our religion debate sometime. When there are more hours in the day...
