Here’s my take on this meme that’s going around, stolen from myself, apparently...

Friday morning at the gym

I don't think so, but I was in a school operetta once.
7. 2 or 3?
Both, of course. When Tom Jones was covering "Kiss" by Prince he sang "Women and Girls, they rule my world" the producer tried to tell him the line was "Women NOT girls, Tom". He knew better.
8. Type of music you dislike most?
Opera. Still don't know what it's for.
9. Do you have cable?
Yes, but only to get Broadband
10. Have you ever ridden on a 4 wheeler?
If this means a four wheel drive car, every day, a quad, only at fairgrounds, or a four wheel bike, on the prom at Blackpool.
11. Have you ever made a prank phone call?
Yes. Hee.
12. Boyfriend/Girlfriend?
Yes please.
13. Would you go bungee jumping or skydiving?
Skydiving, I think, because I'm not sure how my back would hold up to bungee-ing.
14. Farthest place you ever travelled?
Without looking at the map, probably the end of the pier at Santa Barbara. I stood there in 93, humming a line from Tom Waits' "Train Song" ("If you get far enough away, you're on you're way back home") and then turned around and went home.
15. Do you have a garden?
Yes, with stepping stones you can see from space and guinea pigs that you can't
16. What's your favourite comic strip?
It was Cerebus by Dave Sim until the slacker wound it up after 30 years or so. Probably Planetary now.
17. Do you read a newspaper every day?
No, usually the Gruniad for six days a week, but I only rarely pick up a Sunday. When I do it's usually the Sunday Herald for Scottish football or The Observer (as it was yesterday, for the Dune DVD give-away)
18. Do you really know all the words to your national anthem?
It depends - if you mean "Flower of Scotland" of course, if you mean "God Save the Queen" only the first couple and verse six, the one that goes:

And like a torrent rush,
Rebellious Scots to crush.

19. Bath or Shower, morning or night?
Shower at the gym in the morning, and a swim in the gym at night if I'm being good. Baths are for Sundays and expensive hotels.

MEAT!!!!

Popcorn, half and half sweet and salt with the salt on top.

I put three bags in my boot this morning: sports bag with gym stuff, weekend bag with clothes and stuff, and laptop bag with two cumputers and the cable jungle.

That traffic was light on the A69.

Art and chess, and indoor sport.
