I think it's like that old Dave Allen joke about God's sense of humour: his worry is that since Heaven is full of people sitting around on clouds singing hymms, which he would hate, and hell is full of gamblers, fornicators and drinkers, which he would love, God will send all the sinners to heaven and the angelic to hell - which is why he hates Gods sense of humour...
