Long roads which have no turning

It was a three hour drive to the cottage tonight, not helped by it taking 45 minutes to get out of Edinburgh. But I got here in time to find out that the cherry blossom is out, and came out to sit on the porch, with a long drink, some good music, and my friends on LJ. It's a long road. But I'll get there.

The length of the road never changes, it's just the number of twists it throws in along the way that can catch you out.
