First train, to Glasgow Central
Apr. 18th, 2006 05:58 amYes, I'm playing with the wi-fi again.
It seems to be quite well behaved this morning, somewhere between dial-up and broadband speeds, and quite useable.
The view this morning is stunning: lovely sunshine, blue skies. I've just passed through Alnwick, and I'm looking forward to the sweep into Berwick on Tweed, which can be spectacularly beautiful, a long viaduct over the Tweed and a view down to the sea with the old town framed on the left.
Apologies to anyone I haven't caught up with this weekend: I've been more or less out of touch since Thursday afternoon, but back on line now, courtesy of modern miracles.

And I saw a passing reference to Rogano's - I'm sure 20 years ago that place still wasn't as good as it used to be. But I'm way out of touch, worse luck.
And hi back again. Pleased to meet you.

Date: 2006-04-19 09:39 am (UTC)She's a very good writer. I nearly met her once but somehow I really don't think that's going to happen now...
There are a couple of really good guides to LJ-based fandom - I'll pass along the links.
